Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and credit cards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll and ensure accurate tax reporting.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices with a focus on efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict weekly payroll deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
