Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable cycles.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial risks and implement control measures.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide detailed budget forecasts and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
