Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and accounting standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during the audit process.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) to maintain organized digital financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
