Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for corporate entities
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Collaborate with audit teams during annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing financial audits and reporting
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
