Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data through rigorous reconciliation processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support the external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
