Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy.
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management on financial performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
