Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage general ledger activities and perform complex reconciliations for various accounts.
- Assist in external and internal audit preparations by providing requested documentation and schedules.
- Streamline financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
