Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Implement process improvements to reduce payment processing time by 20%
- Collaborate with procurement team on invoice validation and vendor management
- Prepare month-end closing reports and support audits
- Train junior staff on AP procedures and system utilization
- Manage electronic payment systems and fraud prevention protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience in mid-size enterprise
- Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required (Bachelor's preferred)
- AP certification (e.g., APP, CAPP) strongly preferred
- Experience with 3-way matching and tax compliance
- Proven track record of process optimization
