Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Lead accounts payable/receivable optimization and cash flow management
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced Excel proficiency with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros
- SAP/Oracle implementation and reconciliation expertise
- Strong internal controls and SOX compliance background
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven leadership in high-volume transaction environments
