Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger: Manage daily journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Compliance: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations and financial workflows.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Integrity: High level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
