Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for executive review.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor budget versus actuals and provide variance analysis to leadership.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
