As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring compliance, driving efficiency, and providing strategic insights to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
