Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and audit procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and tax requirements
- Coach junior accountants on technical best practices
- Streamline financial reporting using ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record of improving financial processes
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Active CPA license required
