Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow analysis
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits with documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Maintain financial databases and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and California tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience managing month-end and year-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
