Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and intercompany eliminations.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and internal policies.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
