Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
