Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with the annual audit process and tax preparation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
