Role Overview
Our Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax filings and government reporting.
- Perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures.
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
