Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and review general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audit schedules.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast budgets and track variances.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
