Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring all reconciliations are accurate and completed on schedule.
- Assist in external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
