Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including general ledger maintenance and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and support external audit requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
