Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly and annual accounting close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets and P&Ls.
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure data integrity and security.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create financial models and forecasting tools.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide variance analysis and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
