Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and reconciliation of complex financial accounts
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for multiple business units
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial risks and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting systems
- Maintain accurate records in ERP systems with emphasis on data integrity and security
- Develop ad-hoc financial models to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory reporting requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders
