Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and conduct detailed variance analysis.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly performance reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
