Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare complex financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and external stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
