Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily general ledger operations and account reconciliations.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and annual financial statements to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet weekly payroll deadlines effectively.
