Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure accurate cash flow management
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with department heads on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead internal audits and prepare documentation for external audits
- Optimize financial processes using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, or enterprise accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
