Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger operations and ensure accuracy of all financial entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and timely filing of federal and state tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany account settlements to ensure data consistency.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Lead internal audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
