Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor budget variances.
- Ensure accurate tax filings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform internal audits and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports for management review and board presentations.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
