Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for leadership review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes with weekend-specific deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial reporting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for weekend operations
- Implement process improvements for weekend accounting workflows
- Support tax preparation and audit processes during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of weekend accounting experience in corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for weekend reconciliation tasks
- Valid accounting license for Florida or Texas (if applicable)
- Experience with multi-state financial operations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
