Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage general ledger functions and ensure all journal entries are accurate and properly documented.
- Assist with external audits and internal controls reviews to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and forecast future financial performance.
- Handle complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems like SAP/Oracle).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
