Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monthly and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, variance analysis, and management reports in strict accordance with US GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and intercompany account settlements to ensure data integrity.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits and internal compliance reviews, preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
- Support tax compliance requirements and prepare necessary schedules for external tax consultants.
- Identify process improvements and implement internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification is highly preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
