Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and system implementations
- Conduct tax preparation and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Active CPA license or in-progress certification
