Apex Financial Solutions is currently hiring immediately for a Senior Accountant in San Diego, CA. We are looking for a motivated professional to join our finance team and drive our financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial record-keeping in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including the reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or a related role.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
