Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and annual financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
- Prepare and analyze variance reports to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and state filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
