Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely journal entries are recorded.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax returns and manage tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal management to facilitate the annual audit process.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform financial forecasting and budget analysis to support strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is highly preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
