Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and variance analysis reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to management.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Must be able to work part-time hours with the flexibility to meet deadlines.
