Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
