Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and general ledger accounts.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budget performance and financial forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting or finance preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a major plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
