In this role, you will support our senior accountants in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring our clients' books are up to date. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Support the finance team with payroll processing and general ledger maintenance.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred, but no prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
