In this Direct Hire position, you will take ownership of our financial reporting, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and lead initiatives to optimize our accounting processes. Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Oversee the monthly and annual financial close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support budget planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus but not mandatory.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
