Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure timely filing with federal and state authorities.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy of financial data and adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
- Monitor budget variances and provide variance analysis reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax regulations, and auditing standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
