Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly and annual accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings and supporting schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all financial data is backed by proper documentation and adheres to internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of professional accounting experience (CPA candidate or holder preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.
