Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ corporate entities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure timely reconciliations
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external audit processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership team
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with tax department to ensure accurate tax filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting and consolidated reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
