Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform internal audits and month-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- CPA certification or 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
