Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and execute month-end close procedures efficiently.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform detailed accounts payable and receivable reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for department heads.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (Advanced), and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
