Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial laws and regulations.
- Process expense reports and maintain accurate financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, daily-pay environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
