We are looking for a proactive individual to oversee our financial operations and ensure our fiscal health.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform variance analysis to help management understand financial performance and make informed decisions.
- Review and audit financial documents for errors and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
