Responsibilities
- Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate tax filings and compliance for the Albuquerque branch.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and accurate financial forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audits and corporate tax returns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, financial reporting regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry and review.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
