Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporations
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic planning advice to minimize tax liabilities
- Manage client relationships through regular consultations and proactive communication
- Lead tax audits and ensure compliance with evolving IRS regulations
- Mentor junior associates and optimize internal tax processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on M&A transactions and restructuring initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Deep expertise in individual, partnership, and corporate taxation
- Proficiency with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong client management and presentation skills
- Active CPA license required
